The Bhrigu Saṃhitā is a Sanskrit astrological (Jyotisha) treatise attributed in its introduction to Maharishi Bhrigu, one of the Saptarishis (seven sages) of the Vedic period. Its introductory chapter states that it was compiled by the saptrishi uttaradhikari out of compassion for humanity so that humanity could cope with the pressures of its existence and move towards a more spiritual nature. The Bhrigu Samhita claims to contain predictions about current and future lives as well as information about past lives………………

महर्षि भृगु (संस्कृत: भोगु) सात महान संतों में से एक थे, सप्तर्षि, ब्रह्मा द्वारा बनाए गए कई प्रजापतियों (सृष्टि के सूत्रधार) में से एक थे। भविष्य कहनेवाला ज्योतिष का पहला संकलक, और भृगु संहिता के लेखक, ज्योतिषीय (ज्योतिष) क्लासिक, भृगु को ब्रह्मा का मनसा पुत्र (“मन-जन्म-पुत्र”) माना जाता है। नाम का विशेषण रूप, भार्गव, भृगु के वंशज और स्कूल को संदर्भित करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है। मनुस्मृति के अनुसार, भृगु मानवता के हिंदू पूर्वज मनु के समय के हमवतन थे और रहते थे। भृगु का अपना आश्रम (आश्रम) वधुसर नदी पर था, जो वर्तमान में भारत में हरियाणा और राजस्थान की सीमा पर स्थित वैदिक राज्य ब्रह्मवर्त में धोसी हिल के पास द्रिशद्वी नदी की एक सहायक नदी है।……..
Maharishi Bhrigu (Sanskrit: Bhṛgu) was one of the seven great sages, the Saptarshis, one of the many Prajapatis (the facilitators of Creation) created by Brahma. The first compiler of predictive astrology, and also the author of Bhrigu Samhita, the astrological (Jyotish) classic, Bhrigu is considered a Manasa Putra (“mind-born-son”) of Brahma. The adjectival form of the name, Bhargava, is used to refer to the descendants and the school of Bhrigu. According to Manusmriti, Bhrigu was a compatriot of and lived during the time of Manu, the Hindu progenitor of humanity. Bhrigu had his Ashram (Hermitage) on the Vadhusar River, a tributary of the Drishadwati River near Dhosi Hill in the Vedic state of Brahmavarta, presently on the border of Haryana and Rajasthan in India………………..
