हिंदुस्तान जिस तरह इस अजीबो गरीब इल्मका फैलाव हो रहा है, विलायतमें भी एक वक्त ऐसाही फैलाव था, अब भी है; लेकिन कुछ बातें आईनके बरखिलाफ होनेसे दूर हुई जाती हैं, परंतु एक तरफ कुछ लटके नेस्तोनाबूद हो रहे हैं, और दूसरी तरफ कुछ अजायब लटकोंकी तरक्की हो रही है। हमने अच्छी तरहसे उनका जिकर किया है। इनके पढने और हिन्दुस्थानी इल्मके देखनेसे पढनेवालेजान लेंगे कि इन दोनोंके बीचमें कोई खास फरक नहीं, बल्कि दोनोंकी असलियत एक है,तो भी हम पेश्तर कह आये हैं कि हिन्दुस्थानी कुल इल्मोंके साथ, सिर्फ इल्महीके साथ क्यों कुल कामोंके साथ जिस तरह धर्मका मेल है, वैसेही इस मंत्रविद्याकी नीव भी धर्मके ऊपर रक्खी गई है, अंगरेजी यंत्रमंत्रमें ऐसा नहीं है, बस इससे ज्यादा कोई फरक दिखलाई नहीं देता……..
